Amy M. Joiner, 43, Loves Park, Illinois, died at 7:58 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011 in OSF St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford, Illinois unexpectedly.

Born October 2, 1967 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. and Gayle M. (Barmore) Kocher.  Married David W. Joiner in Rockton, Illinois on March 10, 1990.  She was employed in the Medical Records Dept of OSF St. Anthony Hospital for 20 years.  Graduated from Hononegah High School, Class of 1986.  

Survivors include husband, David Joiner and son Justin, both of Loves Park, Illinois; parents Robert and Gayle Kocher, Rockton, Illinois; sister Anne (Jason) Hombach, Carver, Minnesota; maternal grandparents Paul and Kay Barmore, Roscoe, Illinois; paternal grandmother Arlene Kocher, Rockton, Illinois; niece Sydney; nephew Jack and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather. 

Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2011 in Rockton United Methodist Church, 102 West Chapel, Rockton, Illinois with Reverend Tom Kingery, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery, 600 West Street, Rockton, Illinois.  Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011.   

A memorial is to be established.
