Sherida McHone O'Brien


ROSCOE – Sherida L. O’Brien, 57, of Roscoe, IL, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 in Swedish American Hospital after a long illness.

She was born Aug. 25, 1945 in Rockton, Il, the daughter of Clifford and Mildred Hayter McHone. Sherida married Peter L. O’Brien on July 15, 1967.

Sherida was a beloved housewife. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 332 for 16 years.

Survivors include her husband, Pete; two sons, Peter O’Brien, Jr., and Clifford O’Brien; five sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends especially the ones in town that called her "Ma".

She was predeceased by her parents.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 in Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Sherida’s wishes were to be cremated.

Memorials may be given to American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 332.
